The believer’s self-judgment ( I Cor. 11: 31)

After the Saints are “caught out” they are to be judged. This judgment takes place at the “Judgment Seat of Christ.” The Scriptures speak of five separate Judgments. They differ in five general aspects. As to “Subjects,” “Time,” “Place,” “Basis of Judgment,” and “Result.” The Judgment of the Believer is threefold. (1)At the Cross as a “Sinner” for sin; this is Past.

John 5: 24. “Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into judgment but is passed from death unto life.”

(2) As a “Son;” this is Present and consists of “self-judgment” and confession, or else the punishment of chastisement.

1 Cor. 11: 31,32. “For if we would judge ourselves, we should not be judged. But when we are judged, we are chastened of the Lord, that we should not be condemned with the world.”

(3) As a “Servant;” this is future, and is a Judgment for “Works.” at the Judgment Seat of Christ.

2 Cor. 5: 10. “For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that everyone may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad. (Worthless)”

  • Do You Know Christ?

Jesus Christ is God's only provision for our sin. Through Him we can know and experience God's love and plan for our life.

"Lord Jesus, I need You. Thank You for dying on the cross for my sins. I open the door of my life and receive You as my Savior and Lord. Thank You for forgiving my sins and giving me eternal life. Take control of the throne of my life. Make me the kind of person You want me to be."

My prayer is that you study, learn, and grow, in your Journey to know Christ.

    My Friend, He knows You!
